Glenn Hoddle, Tottenham Legend, Reveals Why Harry Kane Has the Green Light for Transfer to Manchester United

Tottenham's legendary player, Glenn Hoddle, has openly admitted that Harry Kane deserves to move away from Spurs this summer if he wants to win a trophy. Manchester United has reportedly identified Kane as their primary striker target, following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial's injury record. Kane, who turns 30 this summer, has an outstanding record in the Premier League and recently became his club and country's all-time leading scorer.

With only Erling Haaland ahead of him in the league goalscorer charts this season, Kane's prowess would be a perfect solution for United's lack of firepower. Hoddle also believes that Spurs fans would not hold it against him if he decides to leave in pursuit of silverware.

According to Hoddle, winning trophies is the icing on the cake for footballers. Although some players win silverware by being decent players in a winning team, it does not make them better than Harry Kane. Despite not winning a trophy yet, Kane has had an excellent career, and winning a trophy would just be the cherry on top.

Hoddle believes Kane is at a crossroads and has two options: he can sign another long-term deal with Spurs and hope things change or tell them he wants to leave. Hoddle suggests that Kane deserves to win a trophy and wouldn't be surprised if he decides to move away to achieve that goal.

It remains to be seen if Kane will leave or sign a new deal with Spurs. However, with his exceptional record and the opportunity to move to a club like Manchester United, the striker's decision will be eagerly awaited by fans around the world.
