Breaking News: Leicester City Announces Dean Smith as New Manager with John Terry Joining Backroom Staff!

Former Aston Villa boss, Dean Smith, has been confirmed as the new manager of Leicester City until the end of the Premier League season, with John Terry joining the backroom staff.

Leicester had hoped to appoint former Leeds United boss, Jesse Marsch, to replace Brendan Rodgers, who left last month. However, Marsch withdrew at the last minute after watching

Leicester's latest defeat to Bournemouth. Smith has been given eight games to turn the club's fortunes around and protect their Premier League status. Terry, who worked under Smith at Villa, will join the coaching team along with Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell.

Leicester chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha expressed his confidence in Smith's leadership, coaching, and motivational qualities as the club looks to retain its Premier League status. Smith's first game in charge will be a difficult test as the Foxes travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to face Manchester City.
